The Sci Fi Channel threw a cozy little gala Tuesday night at the Morgan Library in Manhattan, and through a miracle of New York City transit I was there on time, though with only a cameraphone to catch the network's biggest stars arriving on the red carpet – including Amanda Tapping and most of the stars of both Eureka and Battlestar Galactica, which are starting new seasons in July and April respectively.

I particularly enjoyed having a chance to talk to Amanda Tapping, who was there to talk about both Stargate Atlantis and her new show, Sanctuary, and James Callis, who had some fun talking about Gaius Baltar and his role in the war and in the fabric of the show.

For more on the Sci Fi red carpet, check out my article and my image gallery.

(1) Amelia Fischer says:

Are FOX and USA networks going to release their SCHEDULE like the other networks. The title of these two pieces calling them schedules is very misleading. There are no schedules for FOX and USA that I can see.

correction: I meant to say that SCI-FI and USA have not released their schedule. FOX has indeed released their schedule. Pardon me.
