It was all very last minute, which is why I found myself of the Sci Fi Channel red carpet with only my trusty Treo, snapping cellphone pics of stars used to being photographed with much more elaborate equipment. Still, it gives the whole array a homey, family album feel, and the important thing was being able to spend a few minutes chatting with the stars.
