Fringe was renewed for a fifth and final season, and already it's clear that even above and beyond the strange and astonishing developments of the past four years, the final and abbreviated season 5 will be awesome, must-see television. Will air on Fridays after Touch in the fall.
Airs: Fridays at 9 p.m. Eastern on Fox.
Premiere: Sept. 28.
Description: Members of a Federal Bureau of Investigation "Fringe Division" team based in Boston, Massachusetts under the supervision of Homeland Security use "fringe" science and FBI investigative techniques to investigate a series of unexplained occurrences, which are related to mysteries surrounding a parallel universe.
Starring: Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, Lance Reddick, Kirk Acevedo, Blair Brown, Jasika Nicole, Seth Gabel, John Noble.
