The storybook drama will continue to meet up with new characters in season 2, including (as hinted by creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz) Arial from The Little Mermaid. Prosaic details like rights issues may stall others (Captain Hook, for example), but season 2 will also see a more complex connection between Emma and the curse following from the game changing season 1 finale.
Airs: Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
Premiere: Sep. 30.
