New Star Wars releases for February 2011 include lots of comics -- such as the conclusion of Knight Errant's first story arc -- and new episodes of The Clone Wars.
The trade paperback The Old Republic: Blood of the Empire collects the first three issues of the comic series The Old Republic (originally published as webcomics). The story follows the Sith Teneb Kel as he hunts down the Sith Emperor's traitorous apprentice. New "The Clone Wars" Episodes
The first two The Clone Wars episodes this February are "Altar of Mortis" (February 4th) and "Ghosts of Mortis" (February 11th). The story follows Anakin Skywalker's confrontation with a family of powerful Force users on Mortis -- and forces him to choose between the dark and light sides of the Force. The Clone Wars airs on Fridays at 8:30 p.m., Eastern time, on Cartoon Network.
The first storyline of the comic series Knight Errant concludes in "Aflame, Part 5." Jedi Knight Kerra Holt has saved the mining planet Chelloa from destruction -- only to face it again when the Sith brothers Odion and Daiman face off. What can a lone Jedi do this time? Fate of the Jedi: Backlash
Backlash by Aaron Allston is the fourth novel in the ongoing Fate of the Jedi series. Published in hardcover last March, it is scheduled for a paperback release on February 22. The story follows Luke and Ben Skywalker as they pursue a Sith apprentice to Dathomir -- and prepare to face an unspeakable evil in the heart of the Maw Cluster. (The next novel in the series, Conviction by Aaron Allston, is scheduled for release in May.)
The comic book miniseries Darth Vader and the Lost Command continues in issue #2 of 5. When a beautiful woman offers to help Darth Vader invade the Ghost Nebula, his thoughts turn to Padmé and how his life would be different if she were still alive.
