The Old Republic: Threat of Peace, Part 3 is the third and final issue collecting the Threat of Peace webcomic, published in 2009 to promote the MMORPG The Old Republic. The Clone Wars: Heroes of the Confederacy is a trade paperback collecting the final three issues of The Clone Wars, a 12-issue comic series for young readers tying in with the animated series The Clone Wars. The story follows Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they investigate why a neutral planet, Valahari, has begun to supply the Separatists with advanced ships. Writers: Henry Gilroy and Steven Melching; Penciller: Brian Koschak; Inker: Dan Parsons; Colorist: Michael E. Wiggam. Release date: September 15, 2010.

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is an upcoming multiplayer online action-adventure game. Geared towards younger fans and based on the animation style of The Clone Wars, Clone Wars Adventures will feature battles, minigames, and puzzles with customizable characters. While the basic game will be free to play, inexpensive monthly memberships and microtransaction upgrades are also available. Developers: Sony Online Entertainment. Release date: September 15.

The Clone Wars kicks off its third season with two episodes: "Clone Cadets" and "ARC Troopers." This season will feature a number of exciting new plots and familiar characters, such as a Separatist attack on Kamino, the return of bounty hunter Cad Bane, and the Nightsisters, a group of dark side-users first revealed in The Courtship of Princess Leia. Air date: September 17, 9:00 Eastern Time; Cartoon Network.

The Clone Wars: Season Three Preview

Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil is the conclusion of the Darth Bane Trilogy by Drew Karpyshyn. The series takes place around 1,000 BBY and explores the foundation of a new Sith Order, one which follows the Rule of Two. In Dynasty of Evil, Bane's apprentice Darth Zannah prepares to defeat him and find her own apprentice, carrying on the Sith line. Original publication date: December 8, 2009. Paperback release date: September 28, 2010.

The Jedi Path is an in-universe-style training manual explaining the history and nature of the Jedi, including contributions by characters such as Yoda and Luke Skywalker. In addition to text and illustrations, the collector-oriented book includes objects such as a Jedi credit coin and a Padawan braid. The hardcover Dark Empire Trilogy collects all issues of Dark Empire, Dark Empire II and Empire's End, published by Dark Horse between 1991 and 1995. The Dark Empire saga takes place several years after Return of the Jedi and features the return of Emperor Palpatine, who has discovered a way to project his essence into cloned bodies. Blood Ties, Part 2 continues the four-issue miniseries about the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Rescues, Part 4 continues a six-part story in Invasion, which takes place during the New Jedi Order era. In this issue, Kaye Galfridian leads an attack against the Yuuzhan Vong, unaware that it's a ruse to find out more about her brother Finn, while Finn himself learns a secret about his mother that could explain his unusual abilities.
