Another Dr. Seuss adaptation. Everyone was hoping desperately that Horton wasn't an abomination along the lines of Grinch and Cat in the Hat, with hopes worsened by the writers' previous credits (College Road Trip, The Santa Clause 2, and Bubble Boy), with first-time directors to boot. It turned out to be not so much a travesty as entirely unnecessary.
