Summary:
A promising Hollywood starlet hires Mick to protect her after she feels threatened by overly aggressive paparazzi. Meanwhile, Beth questions her new boss' journalistic ethics.
Comments:
An odd episode in which Mick plays with the fame that comes with protecting Tierney Taylor (Peyton List, who once played Lucy Lane on Smallville), even though vampires should want to keep a relatively low profile. The tone of the episode is awkward, edging toward camp; certainly the celebrity photographer Dean (Alex Sol) is not Mick’s most compelling villain. The authors also wrote “B.C.”, which was likewise about the L.A. “scene.”
