Official Summary:
Visions take over as Kyles powers become more sophisticated and pop up in the most inappropriate places. Hes standing in the local hangout, The Rack, when the words Viz Allati (Hungarian for underwater) come to him, causing the room to shake. Intrigued, Foss and Kyle hunt through Baylins records to find the meaning of this message. There Kyle discovers a book covered with fish that hides a data disk inside. When Kyle deciphers the message, hes shocked to see it reads "Don't Trust Foss."
Key Moments:
Kyle becomes confused by his own actions, since it seems as though he mailed himself a postcard without remembering it. (Better than
tattooing a message on your arm, anyway.) The postcard is addressed to "Kyle Trager," interestingly enough: is this for practical reasons to make sure the mail gets delivered, or does Kyle think of himself this way? (Presumably this is how Kyle is registered at school, etc., but the postcard is a rare example.) Though they've come close to each other before, this is where Kyle and Jessi actually meet face to face -- a meeting so momentous it actually causes an earthquake!
Cute Trager Family Drama of the Week:
Lori tries to warn Jessi off Declan, and clearly she's a little conflicted about whether she's trying to help Jessi, or she's jealous of her.
Biggest Mystery:
Why did Adam triple-encode his warning to Kyle about Foss? Foss himself doesn't seem capable of penetrating even the first layer of encryption. Was he afraid the disc would fall into the hands of Madacorp?
Bottom Line: Worth Watching?:
Andy's dating lessons with Josh are cutesy, but at the same time you really want her to succeed in reforming this lout-in-the-making. So the resolution, where Josh is unselfconsciously enjoying himself with Andy, is nice.
