Doctor Who: The Movie -- After a TARDIS malfunction forces an emergency landing on Earth in 1999 San Francisco while he's transporting the remains of The Master back to Gallifrey, The Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) is accidentally gunned down in a Chinatown gang shootout, then killed on the operating table by the well-meaning Dr. Grace Holloway (Daphne Ashbrook). A delayed regeneration in the hospital morgue results in a new Doctor (Paul McGann) who's lost his memory. Meanwhile, The Master has stolen a new body (Eric Roberts) and plots to open the TARDIS's Eye of Harmony, which would destroy the Earth.
