In addition to Believe from J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron, NBC also ordered the pilot on another fantasy-themed pilot: the revisionist Lewis Carroll project Wonderland from Anthony Zuiker, creator of the CSI franchise. (I wonder what crime scenes are like in Wonderland, anyway?)

Whit Anderson, whose name was previously linked to the notorious non-Whedon Buffy reboot, will write the pilot, which revolves not around Alice but a new girl named Clara. That's fine--what, does Alice own the place?--but I can't help feeling disappointed that it's not being developed at ABC, in which case we might have been able to look forward to an appearance by Sebastian Stan.
