  • Arrow "Burned" 110 (The CW, Wed Jan 16 8 pm). Oliver meets Garfield, a fireman who was badly burned three years ago while on duty after his Fire Chief left him behind. The ordeal ultimately made him a bitter, vengeful man, causing his wife and kids to leave him,
  • Being Human (Syfy) "It's a Shame About Ray" 301 (Syfy, Mon Jan 14 9 pm). In the third-season opener, Aidan resurfaces to find the vampire community has changed a great deal. Meanwhile, Sally struggles to free herself from limbo; Josh and Nora stand up to Ray, and at the same time a new threat comes looking for them in Boston. Guest Cast: Andreas Apergis (Ray).
  • Continuum "A Stitch in Time" 101 (Syfy, Mon Jan 14 8 pm). Eight convicted terrorists escape their planned execution in the year 2077 by traveling back in time to 2012, accidentally bringing officer Kiera Cameron along with them in the series premiere.
  • Fringe "Liberty; An Enemy of Fate" 511 (Fox, Fri Jan 18 8 pm). In the two-hour series finale, a dangerous mission for Olivia precedes the Fringe team's final battle against the Observers, with the fate of mankind at stake.
  • Lost Girl "Caged Fae" 301 (Syfy, Mon Jan 14 10 pm). Season 3 begins with the appointment of a new Ash. Also, Bo risks losing more than just her freedom when she agrees to do a favor for Lauren.
  • Merlin "The Death Song of Uther Pendragon" 503 (Syfy, Fri Jan 18 10 pm). When a stranger gives Arthur the power to summon the dead, the king finds himself torn between head and heart. Unable to resist temptation, he seizes the chance to speak to the person he misses most - his father, Uther.
  • Misfits "Episode 3.3" 303 (Logo, Sat Jan 19 1 am). Simon saves a nerd from being mugged.
  • The Neighbors "Cold War" 112 (ABC, Wed Jan 16 8:30 pm). The Weavers all get sick with the common cold, an ailment unknown to the Zabvronians, so Larry decides to quarantine their house after learning there is no cure. Guest Cast: Richard Riehle (Janitor Raymond); Doug Jones (Dominique Wilkins).
  • Once Upon a Time "In the Name of the Brother" 212 (ABC, Sun Jan 20 8 pm). Dr. Whale must operate to save the injured stranger, but some townsfolk want the stranger to die, fearing he could reveal their real identities to outsiders. Meanwhile, back in fairy-tale land, Victor strives to show his dad that he can revive the dead. Guest Cast: Ethan Embry (Stranger); Nelson Wong (Paramedic No. 1); Gregory Itzin (Alphonse); Lee Arenberg (Leroy/Grumpy); David Anders (Dr. Whale/Victor).
  • Star Wars: The Clone Wars "Eminence" 515 (TOON, Sat Jan 19 9:30 am). Savage and Maul form an alliance with the Death Watch to take down Obi-Wan Kenobi.
  • Supernatural "Torn and Frayed" 810 (The CW, Wed Jan 16 9 pm). Castiel tries to rescue a fellow angel, who is being held captive by Crowley. Meanwhile, Amelia asks Sam to either stay with her or leave and never contact her again. Guest Cast: Misha Collins (Castiel); Liane Balaban (Amelia); Amanda Tapping (Naomi).
  • The Vampire Diaries "After School Special" 410 (The CW, Thu Jan 17 8 pm). Rebekah questions Stefan, Elena and Caroline about the search for a cure. Meanwhile, Bonnie's father suddenly becomes more involved in her life. Guest Cast: David Alpay (Professor Shane); Joseph Morgan (Klaus); Rick Worthy (Rudy Owens); Claire Holt (Rebekah).
