Lost Girl, which originates in Canada and airs there on the Showcase network, was renewed for a third season back in December.
But only now that it's broadcast season 1 and the bulk of season 2 has Syfy decided the experiment has worked out well enough for Lost Girl to stay on Syfy's line-up. According to Live 7 days viewing data, Lost Girl has been averaging 895,000 viewers among adults 18-49 and 930,000 with adults 25-54; Syfy is calling it the number 1 cable drama in those two groups. The total viewership average has been a healthy (for basic cable) 1.64 million total viewers to date.
Confirmed as returning for season 3 are Anna Silk as Bo; Kris Holden-Ried as Dyson; Ksenia Solo as Kenzi; Zoie Palmer as Lauren; Rick Howland as Trick; and K.C. Collins as Hale. Emmanuelle Vaugier will also reprise her role as the Morrigan. Rachel Skarsten will join the cast in a recurring role as a sexy, thrill-seeking Fae called Tamsin.
Season 3 will consist of 13 episodes and will air here in the States starting in January. Beginning July 20, following the season 2 finale, the official berth of Lost Girl will move from Mondays to Fridays.

I am so glad you bring Lost Girl back !!!!!!¡ But 13 isn’t enough !!!!! But I ll take it , just dont cancel cuz for once not only a network listen to the people who watch the shows I watch all week !! I dont usually watch the major staions they have sucky shows even the news sucks anymore.
guys you dont seem to understand, MOST shows are only between 11-14 episodes before the season ends.. majority are 12 as the average,unless they cut a show short because its not doing well,and the way you can also tell if its going in the toilet is if they do back to back episodes, and claim “yay we are ehaving a special week of r2 full episodes or 1 hour of episodes, it usually means they will be canceling the show.

I’ve been watching lost girl since it came to Syfy in the Usa, I own both seasons on blu-ray and by far this has been the best show on this channel for awhile it would be nice to add more episodes but I will settle for another season 4 to be exact. I’m 53 and I watch it every wrek sometimes more since I already have 2 seasons please let this show continue.
