Falling Skies Webcomic Bridges Season Gap

As we've already seen from the season 2 teaser clip, three months pass between the dramatic ending of last season and the hectic battles that kick of season 2. And in that time, our heroes have not been idle.

The events of that gap will no doubt be alluded to as episodes of the second season unfold. But you can see some of what plays out in that time now, via a webcomic produced in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.

The storyline, called Falling Skies: Battle for Fitchberg, performs the same pre-prep function as the previous Dark Horse/Falling Skies collaboration, a prequel made available before season 1 premiered designed to help sort out the show's complex plot and character connections.

Falling Skies, which is produced by Steven Spielberg under Dreamworks pictures, returns to TNT July 17, 2012. Falling Skies: Battle for Fitchberg #1 is available at FallingSkies.com, on TNT's website and on Darkhorse Digital's site.
