TELEVISION—New episodes this week from:Guest stars this week include Alan Tudyk, carrying over his guest shot from the pilot, on V; Perrey Reeves (Entourage) on Ghost Whisperer); Amy Pietz (Aliens in America) on Medium; Emily Perkins (Da Vinci's Inquest) and Chuck Benedict return as superfan Becky and the Prophet Chuck on Supernatural; and Matt Davis (Legally Blonde) on Vampire Diaries.

  • Heroes "Shadowboxing" (409). Claire investigates the sorority attacks, which may have a link to Noah. Elsewhere, Peter finds his job performance improved after gaining a new ability, which also provides a means to help Emma, and Sylar escalates his assault on Matt.
  • V: The Series "There Is No Normal Anymore" (102). A "seeker" among the Visitors tracks Erica and Father Jack. Chad seeks redemption by investigating the aliens ahead of his next newscast while law enforcers press Erica for information concerning Dale Maddox's whereabouts.
  • FlashForward "Playing Cards With Coyote" (108). The discovery of the tattooed assassin seen in Mark's flash-forward leads him to cut short his romantic getaway with Olivia; Simon and Lloyd settle a debate over a game of poker; Aaron learns the truth about his daughter's accident; Janis returns to work, but questions her future with the department.
  • Vampire Diaries "History Repeating" (109). Damon reveals to Stefan the actual reason why he returned to Mystic Falls and the news stuns Stefan. Meanwhile, Bonnie is disturbed by terrifying dreams about one of her ancestors, and she and Caroline hold a séance. And Jeremy introduces his new history teacher to his aunt Jenna.
  • Fringe "Of Human Action" (207). The Fringe division assists in the investigation of a kidnapping-turned-hostage crisis in New York and discovers a possible connection between the current situation and Massive Dynamic.
  • Supernatural "The Real Ghostbusters" (509). Sam and Dean are tricked into attending a "Supernatural" convention where fans dress up as the brothers. But the entertaining event is soon disrupted by a ghost.
  • Ghost Whisperer "Dead Listing" (508). A ghost takes Melinda to his murdered body, entangling Melinda in a criminal mystery.
  • Smallville "Idol" (908). Clark decides to admit he is the Blur after botched crime-fighting assistance from superhero twins Zan (David Gallagher) and Jayna (Allison Scagliotti) lands him in trouble with the law.
  • Medium "Once In A Lifetime" (608). Ariel lands a new boyfriend, but Allison comes to suspect that the young man is a killer. Elsewhere, Bridgette gets in hot water after posting disconcerting videos of a man on the Internet. David Arquette directed the episode.
  • Stargate Universe "Time" (108). An away team finds a kino beside a Stargate on a jungle world, which contains video footage of the team that was shot prior to their arrival. Then, an illness cripples the team, forcing them to quarantine themselves on the planet.
  • Sanctuary "Fragments" (206). Magnus tries to save a research scientist's life after a seemingly docile abnormal attacks. Henry tries to determine why the domesticated creature turned violent.
  • Legend of the Seeker "Baneling" (202). While seaching for the Stone of Tears, Richard, Kahlan, Zedd and Cara (Tabrett Bethell) land in a D'Haran prison where the dead return from the underworld to prey on the living.
  • Prisoner "Arrival" (101). A reworking of the 1960s cult hit about an amnesiac (Jim Caviezel) held in a mysterious area called the Village, where fellow inhabitants are known only by numbers. First up: Six is found in the desert and taken to the settlement, but he soon realizes something is amiss among its supposedly contented citizens. Ian McKellen costars as Two, the Village's enigmatic leader.
  • Prisoner "Harmony" (102). Six is prescribed "talking cure" therapy, but does his best to resist having psychiatrists mess with his mind. He also learns he has an unusual occupation and a family that includes a brother and a sister-in-law, plus their two children. Six later encounters a woman who swears she once heard splashing from "the big water," and the two of them and his brother go in search of it.
