Fox Orders Past Life

Fox has plenty of paranormal drama on tap for the fall, now that the network added an order to Warner Bros. TV for a reincarnation drama, Past Life alongside its renewal of Fringe. The plot, they say, is about a team of detectives who use regression therapy and reincarnation to solve crimes.

The pilot was written by creator David Hudgins (Friday Night Lights, Everwood), and a full writing staff is currently being corralled. The cast includes Kelli Giddish (Di on All My Children), Nicholas Bishop (from the Aussie series Home and Away), Richard Schiff (The West Wing), and Ravi Patel (Easy Money).

The production company is the same one that's also producing this fall's Eastwick, with Rebecca Romijn and Matt Dallas (Kyle XY).
