Season 2 of Sanctuary Under Way

Sanctuary's second season, ordered by Sci Fi during its successful debut season last year, has begun production in Vancouver.

The show is slated to return to the schedule this fall with 13 original episodes, the same quantity as last year.

Joining series stars Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Emilie Ullerup, Christopher Heyerdahl, and Ryan Robbins will be a newcomer: UK-born Canadian actress Agam Darshi will appear as Kate Freelander, described as a swindler, con artist, and thief who finds herself in an uneasy alliance with Dr. Magnus (Tapping) after her business relationship with the Cabal goes sour. Darshi has appeared in minor roles in a number of genre series and films, including The Dead Zone and Stargate Atlantis.
