Preview of Reimagined Prisoner

For those who are curious about how AMC is recreating the classic 1960s series The Prisoner, a handful of videos have been posted on the AMC website, including a six-minute making-of preview in which the cast and crew discuss their on-location shooting in Namibia and Cape Town, South Africa – a far cry from the Welsh locations of the original series.

The new series stars Ian McKellen (who's keeping a blog covering the production) as Two and Jim Caviezel as Six. Also in the production are Jamie Campbell-Bower (Anthony in Sweeney Todd). The six-part series will air later this year (the broadcast dates have not been announced).
