Review: Kyle XY Season 3 Premiere

The 10-episode third season of the ABC Family series Kyle XY debuts tonight, and the signs so far is that it should be a reasonably strong season: Kyle is starting to grow into a hero, having become confident in both his abilities and his purpose.

The main problem with this development is that it causes him to emerge from the need for the protective/nurturing environment and example of the all-American Tragers, which has the potential to make the show feel a little disjointed (although the writers have made sure to include some ties between Kyle's issues and the Tragers').
