"Razor" Star Guests on Sarah Connor

Stephanie Jacobsen, who turned in an arresting one-off performance as Kendra Shaw in Battlestar Galactica's season 4 opener "Razor," is returning this week to small-screen sci-fi.

Jacobsen guest-stars on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as Jesse, a woman with a sordid past who becomes romantically entangled with Derek Reese (Brian Austin Green). Where are all the women with pure and chaste pasts, eh? That's what I'm wondering lately. Even the nuns on TV sneak contraband into their cells and swear like fishmongers (if Pushing Daisies is to be believed, anyway).

Bizarrely enough, Jacobsen is also starring in an unrelated low-budget sci-fi/horror indie due out next month that happens to be called Judgment Day. It's about a small town mayor and his family's mission to prevent a planetary disaster.

Whatever the venue, based on "Razor" I'd say this is an actor we need to see more of.

"The Tower is Tall But the Fall is Short" airs Monday, Oct. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox.
