Torchwood Season 2 on DVD Today

BBC Video is releasing the second season of Torchwood to DVD today (September 16th).

This 5-disc set contains the 13 episodes of season 2, as well as over 3 hours of bonus material. Extras include all 13 episodes of Torchwood Declassified, the 10-minute companion series which explores elements of each episode; as well as "The Life and Deaths of Captain Jack Harkness," a 22-minute featurette (narrated by Freema Agyeman) about the character's immortal status that includes comments by John Barrowman and creator Russell T. Davies. Nine minutes of outtakes and 18 minutes of deleted scenes are also included.

Season 2 stars John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Burn Gorman, Naoko Mori, and Gareth David Lloyd. The second season features guest star appearances including Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who), Alan Dale (Lost), and James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville).
