New Video for Wall-E
Wednesday June 25, 2008
I've added a bunch of new video for Wall-E, the new Pixar film about a lonely robot that opens this Friday (June 27).
The video includes interviews with voice artists Jeff Garlin and Sigourney Weaver and writer-director Andrew Stanton, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the animation, clips from the film, and all the trailers.
Despite early concern that the film, which has hardly any dialog for most of its run and looks at first blush like a cutesy take on R2D2 in love, represented a risk for Disney and Pixar in a very competitive summer, very early reviews are promising: The Village Voice, for example, hails "a film that's both breathtakingly majestic and heartbreakingly intimate."
