Reaper returns in reruns, starting with the pilot, on Tuesday, Jan. 15. As of Feb. 28 it moves to Thursdays at 9 p.m. You'll notice that's the slot currently occupied by Supernatural, which has been unaccountably left off of The CW's midseason schedule, much to the annoyance of fans. It's still not clear when the remaining couple of new Reaper episodes will be shown, or what's happening to Supernatural, which should have at least two new episodes of its own to show.

It's bad enough they canceled Journeyman – do we have to worry about Supernatural now, too? Listen, CW execs: You think NBC has angry fans. You will learn what fan anger is if Supernatural, one of the most powerfully acted, strongly written series this side of Battlestar, does not get the support it deserves.

Isn’t that the truth! I don’t think the CW has any idea of the sleeping giant it has awakened with this idiotic stunt of theirs!

Thank you for this article. We Supernatural fans need all the support we can muster up.

You are so right about the absolutely wonderful acting and amazing writing this show has. I’ve never been this passionate for a television program before.

May the strike end very, very soon!!!!

Thanks for the shout out for Supernatural! I am VERY disappointed that it won’t be on the schedule. I can’t wait for SN’s new episodes (actually I think there are 4 more, but don’t quote me) — but my happiness at having new eppies is certainly tempered by my displeasure at the CW for the show not being on the schedule after that. I always watch the reruns of SN and always catch something in the eppie I missed first time. The depth and layering of the visuals and of the characters of Dean and Sam deserve a second look!

They messed up BIG TIME when they canceled Everwood. The fans even collected money and had a ferris wheel set up in view of the WB offices!

Last year’s cancellation of Gilmore Girls (not entirely the CW’s fault) and Veronica Mars really opened the flood gates. My Network TV will have more viewers if they cancel Supernatural!

Thank you so much for your support of Supernatural. It’s a quality show that deserves much better treatment than it’s gotten. Interesting subject matter, good writing, exceptional acting from two extremely appealing stars…it makes you laugh, cry, and hide behind a pillow all in a single episode. With its themes of courage, family, and self-sacrifice, Supernatural is actually a show the CW should be proud of. If I were them I would be shouting from the rooftops about the letters the boys received from General Petraeus. But instead it’s being shoved into a closet and hidden.

Well, I just can say one thing..

You got it right, CW is gonna be hit so hard, that the CEOs there are gonna fall on their a*****, and maybe, and I want to reinforce the “maybe” something good might finally happen.
Thanks for the great support for Supernatural.

SUPERNATURAL is a quality show that has never had the respect or promotion it deserves from the CW. Instead of removing it from the schedule altogether, why not start from the pilot and show potentially new fans what an amazing show it started out as? Given that we have no idea when the writers’ strike will be settled, this might perhaps provide an opportunity to show many eps of SUPERNATURAL, even into season 2! Why pull it from the schedule altogether when it deserves so much better?

The article isn’t entirely accurate. There is a time slated for all four new episodes of SPN that have yet to air. They start on Jan. 31st and run consecutively for four weeks. Then on Feb. 28th, Reaper takes over.
I agree that the CW needs to promote SPN more. It’s the best show they have and they neglect it terribly.
Reaper’s two episodes will most like air in Jan. before it takes over SPN’s slot and when it does that, it will probably be reruns.
We do want SPN reruns to return. Since the strike has wiped out the second half of ALL shows’ seasons, the least we can hope for is reruns.

(9) Mal says:

Thank you so much for the supportive article. I believe the CW will find itself boycotted in a major way if they yank the show permanently. The show does well enough on its own, bravely standing against Greys and CSI, but just imagine the ratings it would get if they would JUST promote it with half the vigor they pour into thier crappy shows.

Thank you so much for your article and for your support of the show. It really means something to us. Keep up with the good work. I just hope that the strike end very soon.

thank you so much for your article and support. Us Supernatural fans will not go quietly into the night as the CW executives wish. Supernatural is a show worth fighting for.

(12) Iza says:

I agree with everyone here, how can you even think about getting rid of the one amazing new show in their entire lineup! There is nothing on right now that even compares to Supernatural and to stuff Reaper in it’s place is like replacing Star Wars with Starship Troopers! Aah! Please wake up CW! I specifically got a DVR to never miss this show last year man!

(13) Sam says:

I don’t think that CW knows what’s coming for them. I think reaper is an okay show but it’s brand new, the fanbase can’t be anywhere near as strong as SN’s rabid fangirls and gore freaks. OUR WILL IS STRONGER. :D

(14) TONI SANTAELLA says:

I agree, when we finally get a show we enjoy you guys take it off. WHATS UP WITH THAT?

if the cw loses supernatural they lose plenty of viewers as it is a majority of the people i talk to primarily watch cbs the only shows i watch are supernatural and reaper on the cw so they will lose me as well

(16) KC says:

I disagreed with cancellation of Reaper and I also do not like that Supernatural is leaving too. Do they just not want us to watch CW or what?
