A quick note to point out that I'm starting the new year by initiating brief This Week/Next Week listings of the shows I'm covering -- just episode titles, days, and times for now, though descriptions may come later. This way we'll have a better idea of what's coming up and whether you need to ask Mr. TiVo to fetch you something.

"This Week's Shows" will always be the first item in the Essentials, and the URL will stay the same if you want to bookmark it. Feedback, as always, is appreciated, as well as anything you know is coming up on TV that you want other people to know about -- just email me.
