"All of us are very saddened by that, but we always knew there was going to be a conclusion and we would find Earth, so we will be finding Earth this season," Olmos said. "This year we’ll eat them up and spit them out and they’re going to wish they would’ve gone on for 10 years."
Katee Sackhoff, who plays Kara Thrace on the show, talked at the same event about why the series was ending: "I think part of the problem is that it's an expensive show," Sackhoff told The IESB. "It is [a great show], but we don't have the viewership that a great show should get."
